About us

The Department of Transport and Main Roads was formed in April 2009, when two former departments (Queensland Transport and the Department of Main Roads) merged.

We plan, manage and deliver Queensland's integrated transport environment to achieve sustainable transport solutions for road, rail, air and sea.
